Excursion to Pisang Peak base camp for a view of the Annapurna glaciers. Acclimatization day in Manang before crossing Thorong Pass at 5400m.
Descent into the Mustang region then cross the beautiful takalis villages off the beaten track, left bank of the Kali Gandaki. From there the Dhaulagiri icefalls and the blue Nilgiri glacier appear very close.
