The beginning of the trail takes you along terraced paddy fields to the tibetan village Olanchchunga and higher up to 5100m to the LumbaSumba mountain pass.
Downhill through Hatiya and Ekuwa , villages populated by rai and limbus, towards Arun valley which comes from the Manaslu.

The path goes high up to the summer pastures.
