Trekking Peaks
These summits are often part of a trekking experience. They sometimes extend the trek by only two or three days, allowing participants who do not wish to ascend to engage in excursions around the Base Camp.
Most of these peaks do not involve technical difficulties, but some are suitable only for experienced mountaineers. You will be guided by our mountain guides and high-altitude sherpas. When necessary, the sherpas will set up fixed ropes.
The regulations for these peaks are governed by the NMA (Nepal Mountaineering Association). You can consult the list of these peaks and the cost of permits on their website:
GST will apply for the permits before your arrival and manage their procurement. GST handles the refund of the “Garbage Fee” upon expedition return.
GST ensures its Nepalese team according to the new Nepalese legislation. GST equips its Nepalese team at the base camp and for the ascent. You can choose an all-inclusive package or bring some of your climbing equipment such as ropes, high-altitude tents, harnesses, etc. We provide CERTEC hyperbaric chambers and Thuraya satellite phones. After registration, you will receive a Practical Sheet with all the information to facilitate the preparation of your expedition: insurance, health, addresses of mountain medicine centers, detailed list of your equipment, climate information for the expedition. Throughout your expedition, our meteorology specialist will send you the latest forecasts via SMS.
