How about discovering the Sherpa lifestyle without the busy trails of Everest Base Camp ?

Our sherpa guides from the region will accompany you and welcome you in their homes for a taste of their families’ momos , noodle soups and why not a Tumba a local barley beer ?!

At times you will hike the Solu trails, Junebesi, Pike Peak but you will often go back  off the beaten tracks to discover Sherpa and Tamang villages.

Icing on the cake for you can ascend the easily accessible Pike Peak for an view of Mt.Everest and the surrounding summits.

ITINERARY BREAKDOWN

Day 1 From Kathmandu to Khawa and Thulo Patal, 2315m.
Vechile from Kathmandu to Khawa d hike to Tsering’s village ( Tsering is a guide at GST)
Day 2 Excursion
Visite the monastery and the Tamang lifestyle.
Day 3 From Thulo Patal to Bhandar 2200m
Hike to Khawa and bus to Bhandar.
Day 4 From Bhandar to Sete 2575m
Day 5 From Sete to Junebesi 2475m
Day 6 Junebesi.
Day 7 From Junebesi to Thupten Choling 2920m
Here resides the Tulshi Rimpoche, reincarnation of a lama of the Rongbruk monastery in Tibet.. Hike higher up to Pungmuche and its Sherpa art center. Overnight in Junebesi.
Day 8 From Thupten Choling to Pike Base Camp 3640m
Day 9 From Pike Base Camp to Pike Peak and to Dimil (Tapting)  2875m
Day 10 From Dimil to Salleri 2380m
Day 11 From Phaplu to Kathmandu
Flight to Kathmandu
